The story behind the brand began in Goa, India. Goa was the last stop on the Hippie Trail, an overland journey that spanned months, taking adventurous Western travelers in the seventies from London or Amsterdam via Istanbul, Tehran, and Kabul to India. With its pristine beaches, natural beauty, and atmosphere of spirituality, Goa was a haven for the free-spirited. They created a community celebrating free love, music, and open-mindedness. Flea markets served as lively hubs for cultural exchange, showcasing a blend of Eastern and Western influences.

Our first collection draws inspiration from the vibrant and culturally rich city of Jaipur, nestled in the hills of northwest India. Jaipur is renowned for its majestic palaces, imposing fortresses, and architecture, arts, and crafts. The traditional shops in Jaipur offer a delightful array of treasures, including antiques, jewelry, handicrafts, gems, bangles, pottery, carpets, textiles, leather, and metal products.
